Forward Slope Inc. is seeking multiple DevOps Engineers for a Navy software program.
Location:
The positions are hybrid and some work onsite in Point Loma, is required.
This position has the option to work a 9/80 schedule, which is a compressed work schedule, with alternate Fridays off.
Job Description:
Forward Slope, Inc. is seeking experienced and fast-learning DevOps professionals to provide software modernization and sustainment services for the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) program supporting current and future mission planning systems. Day-to-day efforts include working with highly talented professionals and subject matter experts to design, implement, and sustain mission-critical software systems. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Design, implement, and test Tekton pipelines to provide software support for the portfolio of PMA 281 systems to include in-service end items and fielded weapons systems.
- Create development and production container images using Docker and Buildah.
- Implement a monitoring infrastructure for pipelines and deployed environments using Prometheus and Grafana.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently hold an active U.S security clearance or be able to obtain one
- Demonstrated 2-5 years DevOps experience with:
- Containerization using OpenShift (Kubernetes)
- CI/CD automation using Tekton and Ansible.
- Working in headless RHEL environments.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Scripting and automation in bash or python.
- Test automation frameworks.
- Cyber security tools such as OpenSCAP, Snyk, JFrog Xray, or Anchore.
- Atlassian suite or equivalent.
*Salary Range: $100,000 - 130,000/year
