Job Description:
Forward Slope Inc. currently has an opening for a UX/UI Designer. We are looking for an independent, perceptive, adaptable, highly organized, passionate, and strategic Senior UX/UI Designer. This position will work alongside a team of designers on highly complex DoD projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently hold an active US security clearance or be able to obtain one.
  • 3+ years' experience in interactive design; must have experience designing and shipping desktop applications, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Hands on experience designing complex dashboards/data visualizations.
  • Has the ability to solve problems creatively, an interdisciplinary sensibility toward graphic, product and digital media design and an exceptional eye for detail.
  • Expert level understanding of information architecture, interaction design, user experience, and visual design.
  • Top candidates will have a sensitivity to typography, color and a practical grasp of physics and animation.
  • Proficiency in the use of Figma as well as a willingness to learn on the job is a requirement.
  • Excellent collaborative and brainstorming skills.
  • Ability to deliver high quality work on tight schedules.
  • Experience in prototyping is a plus.
  • Familiarity with design systems.
  • Experience with various platforms and operating systems is a plus.
  • Analyzing learning needs and goals to determine instructional strategies and objectives.
  • Applying learning theories and principles to design engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Integrating various media elements, such as text, graphics, audio, and video, to enhance learning outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DoD information systems.
  • Developing instructional materials such as online courses, e-learning modules, training manuals, and multimedia presentations.

Salary Range:

  • $125,000 - $150,000*

  • Full-Time Salary/Exempt

Clearance Information: Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information. Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL).
