Forward Slope, Inc. is seeking a fast-learning and self-motivated DevOps Engineer to provide continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) support services for the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC). This effort includes DevOps engineering, software development, and integration of command and control (C2) systems. This position requires candidates be located in San Diego, CA.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 to 2 years of demonstrated DevOps experience with:
  • CI/CD pipelines (i.e. Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Vagrant)
  • Software Testing Frameworks (i.e. Robot Framework, Selenium, Moq)
  • Linux and Windows administration
  • Version Control (i.e. Git, SVN, TFS)
• CompTIA Security+ Certification (or be able to obtain one within 30 days)
• Currently hold an active SECRET clearance (or be able to obtain one within 60 days)

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or physics
• Demonstrated experience with:
  • Full-stack software development (i.e. Java, .NET, JavaScript, SQL)
  • Containerization (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • Cloud computing infrastructure (i.e. AWS, Microsoft Azure)
  • Atlassian Suite (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket)
