Forward Slope, Inc. is seeking a Senior TDL/C2 Systems Engineer to join our team. This position is located in San Diego, CA.

Description:

• Serve as the TDL and C2 Subject Matter Expert (SME) in support of the Taiwan Syun An Program
• Support test and evaluation, troubleshooting, and repair of Syun An Systems and capabilities, and advise in-country Field Service Technicians as necessary
• Conduct engineering evaluations of current and new equipment in support of system modernization, to include development of white papers, and support integration testing
• Provide expert advice on development of system modernization technical implementation plans
• Review Installation Design Plans and System Operational Verification Test (SOVT) Plans/Procedures (and related documents) and advise on any recommended modifications to ensure successful installations
• Provide TDL and C2 training to Taiwan MND personnel, and provide guidance to new trainers on course delivery
• Advise Training Manager on development of comprehensive Syun An training program, to include review of Training CDRL documentation and specific recommendations
• Estimated 10-20% travel to Taiwan

Requirements:

• Ten (10) years’ experience with US Navy Tactical Data Links (TDL) and Command and Control (C2) systems to include systems engineering, installation, and training
• Three (3) years’ experience implementing TDL and C2 systems in support of an FMS case
• Active SECRET security clearance
