Description
Forward Slope has an opening for a Master Scheduler to join our team. The position is located in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Job Description:
- Possess a high level of skill and experience with Microsoft Project and MS Project Server.
- Responsible for the monitoring and measurement of progress, the identification and working of program]wide issues, and performing tasks received from the program management team and external agencies with respect to integrated master schedules and plans.
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge of scheduling concepts, theories, and ability to use scheduling tools to assist the IPTs and program leadership in development of accurate schedules.
- Develop an Integrated Master Schedule in MS Project and perform Critical Path Analysis.
- Collect and integrate multiple processes into a Program IMS and identify dependencies and gaps.
- Interact with and provide direct support to Project Liaisons and Program Management.
- Assist in the definition and articulation of problems in the IMS. Propose and help implement workable solutions to remedy problems.
- Identify schedule risks, and clearly communicate issues and resolutions to program management.
- Lead working groups to develop solutions to schedule deficiencies.
- Prepare timelines and scheduling data (30/60/90 day look]ahead) for the program management team with metrics and explanations of data.
- Utilize schedule analytical and program risk software tools on integrated master schedules.
- Demonstrate analytical ability to develop and maintain integrated program schedule system that analyzes, integrates, and formats cost/schedule information to program management and customers.
Required Qualifications:
- Ten (10) years of program support experience in a military environment.
- Seven (7) years of scheduling experience supporting a program. Specifically, developing, base]lining, updating, monitoring, and reporting of program or project schedules in MS Project.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Other Requirements:
- Resident of Honolulu, Hawaii.
- Must have a current and active Secret clearance.
